In my current company we used to be addicted to playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the breaks. After a while it got so competitive that we had to force ourself not to play with "meta" characters (yes we we're that serious about it).
So I had made this "simple" little webapp to randomize your character (it was not possible in the game). One of the harder parts was scraping the internet for all the stats of the characters, also the difficulty meter is based of how far you are off from the "perfect meta" build. So there was quite some fiddling with numbers to make this fully functional.
In the end I added some fun little animations to make a bit more well rounded.
This will probably never be used by anybody, but at the time I wanted to challenge myself a bit more in VUE so this was a fun personal project to do that.
